TIM BULMER

Tim was born and raised in Northumberland in the 50’s but headed south to gain an Honours degree in Theatre Design at Wimbledon School of Art. Initially employed as a set and special effects designer, Tim also worked in a variety of galleries, which offered ample opportunity for him to indulge his two main interests – painting and the study of human behaviour. In his own words: “a wry observation of life and an unwillingness to take anything seriously” form the bedrock of his work.
 
Tim’s celebrated style has broad appeal and his paintings are displayed and collected both nationally and internationally. He has received several awards including Harrods Picture Gallery’s ‘Most Popular Artist’ and the Fine Art Trade Guild’s ‘Best Selling Original Print Artist 2001’.
